We had slept into the early afternoon on this day after a long flight and drive the night before from Europe. It had been a day for taking it easy and slipping into the CA way. After taking a casual drive from our hotel to San Clemente we had strolled along the seafront infusing ourselves in Californian sunshine and vibes. The laid back paddle into the sunset waves by local surfers added to the atmosphere.
